So I finally don't have to worry about work...
...and thus I have a moment to write.

Last week, and weekend. I'd like to say things went well... I mean with my family and everything. But how well can a funeral ever go I imagine. I'm fine now for the most part. Every so often I start thinking about my grandmother and I tear up. ^^;; but I suppose that'll just happen. It was good to see so many people though. And I learned a lot about my grandmother that I'd never known before. I did end up singing too. Everyone told me it went well but yanno.... a lot of times people will just be nice so I couldn't help wondering.

The rest of the time was a little slow. I got to seen Pengie and CUsa and Jeska which proved eventful at the very least. Somehow... I suspect there was far too much Tim Curry in it all ^^; I've decided he can make absolutely anything better just by being in it. He made a crappy Disney sequal watchable in anycase. We also went out to Plum Garden on Sat, one by the big Barnes and Nobles. After lots of sushi (and wasabi pour moi) we pretty much plopped down in the store an read manga. CUsa ended up walking out with a whole series to my amazement XD but Pengie said it was usual and I believed her. I got the next volume of Otona ni Nuts myself and accidentally tried to pay with Canadian money XD cashier looked at me like death (I get death look alot lately) and she was quite bitchy about it.

I returned to school on Tuesday this week >> mom didn't want me staying home too long but we came to an agreement. That was around when I posted last cause of the emmys.

Now on to fun stuff. First I have to thank sharona1x2 and magnolia_ceres if I speeled either of yer names wrong >> well that's acause I suck. ;-; But I got bother of yer cards and it came as such a needed time and I appreciate them muchly >0< Magu-twin yer sheep is so kyute and squishable. He's hanging on the board in front of my desk now. And Sharona-chama :D I did even need to open the bromide to know who I'd find inside XD I'm pretty blantant when it comes to pot and Jirou nee? But he and Yuushi get to sit with the cards you sent too XD Oshitari should feel priviledged with so much sheep love around. Thank you both muchly again >0< *huggles*

Last thing I have to fangirl over is probably a bit unexpected. Lately >> I've been watching Digimon subs because there were to be had and Digimon was like... one of my favorite fandoms. XD Plus it actually didn't suck like most people use to think. In any case I still say 02 is complete love... first season anyway. Hearing Paku Romi as Ken is just so fun and I get all giddy remembering how I fangirled over her in her debut... especially so soon after the close of Fullmetal Alchemist XD while still God and talented, it's quite neat to hear her progress from one of her earliest roles... getting off that subject now XD I just finished watching the new movie put out. X-Evolution. That being said... I never ever expected to fangirl like this over digimon ever again. >0< but it was soo good. Tamers, Frontier and the more recent movies were only sub-par compared to the original storyline. But they ended up getting the original director back for this movie and while there were no children there was a definitely influence from those first two seasons like the Ultimate forms from Adventure and the Royal Knights were Omegamon, Magnamon and Dukemon all important in their own season (okay the last is tamers XD). There was also subtle yet very fitting norse mythology :D and norse mythology makes anything cool in my eyes. The story was actually quite interesting to me too. The fact that it was a computer world was held more weight than in the other series' and lead to more... symbolism I guess? I can't think of the right word but I actually had to actively pay attention to follow the whole thing. XD and I was still extremely wrong when I tried to predict the end... though the over use of Deus ex Machina was blatant enough... that's something they'll never be rid of. But over all I really really enjoyed watched every bit of it. I'm not sure if I'd be able to take much more because Digimon as a whole is quite past it's time now but this was a truly pleasant surprise. XD I need to make Sam watch it now *chiis*
